The sound of clopping hooves fades into the distance as Hanim Fatihah and her entourage ride away. Ayşe waves them goodbye, feeling calm, happy.
She says to Zeynel, “Well, that didn't turn out so bad.”
As they return into the parlour, Zeynel places his fingers together. He asks in curiosity, “Is this your first time selling?”
Ayse smiles playfully. “Sort of. I haven't done it without baba before.” She sits on her knees, in front of the blue and yellow carpet. “I'm still on my apprenticeship.”
