Zeynel concludes his evening prayers and quietly puts away his prayer rug. It is a compact, simple design: red and blue, with yellow floral arabesques, and an arch lined in white. Personally, he doesn’t need a fancy design for his own prayer rug, so long it does the job, but it had been a gift from the university.
